Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Pideia platform operated by BARAKVENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Pideia on behalf of a school, you confirm you are authorised to bind that school.

Pideia provides school-management tools (academics, attendance, fees, communication and related features). We may add, change, or remove features to improve the service. Availability is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and may be subject to maintenance.

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Accounts for children are created and managed under the responsibility of the school and the child’s parent/guardian.

• Do not misuse the service, attempt to breach security, or access data you are not authorised to access.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not use the platform to harass, defame, or harm others.
• Use the platform only for legitimate school purposes.

Schools are the data fiduciaries for their records and are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents (including parental consent for minors) and for the accuracy of the data they upload. Users must comply with their school’s policies.

Fees for the service (where applicable) are as agreed with your school. Specific amounts, the billing cycle, and any refund terms are set out in each school’s order or agreement.

The platform, its software, and its branding are owned by Pideia. You retain rights to the data you provide; you grant Pideia a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. For schools, a Data Processing Agreement further governs Pideia’s role as processor.

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the total fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

You or your school may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination, data is handled per the Privacy Policy retention and export provisions.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Chennai having jurisdiction. We may update these terms; material changes are notified, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
